Although I grew up with Barbie dolls, I probably wouldn’t have given the anniversary news a second glance, but I found the “update” of her look to be quite interesting.

Mattel, Inc. just released Totally Stylin’ Tattoos Barbie. That’s right…she’s battling the mid-life crisis by getting tatted up. The angle they are pushing is that it gives youngsters a way to be creative. I am not a parent, but I will say I probably would look for other creative avenues instead of giving my child a Barbie to decorate with tattoo stickers.
